Our Mission and Vision
The Ackley Foundation Inc. is a 501(c)3 organization dedicated to supporting motivated individuals and families in need, helping them develop independence. We are committed to helping individuals and families reach their potential as self-relying, self-sufficient members of their community.
We currently conduct the following programs:

Individual/Family Financial Assistance: We assist with small grants to individuals or families whom are motivated to become financially self-reliant, to address needs such as rent, tuition, transportation, job training, and childcare.

Nonprofit support: We recently sponsored a mentorship program for AMSKILLS, Inc., a nonprofit with a mission to transform lives & strengthen communities through workforce training and apprenticeships. We also sponsored a marketing program for the Dental Hygiene program at Pasco-Hernando State College.

International Philanthropy: Drs. Rodney and Eva Ackley created a free Dental Clinic in Btekhnay, Lebanon years ago to provide free dental care to refugees and local residents in need. The Foundation now maintains and funds the Clinic which is open year round. We also have an education fund to support local residents in Btekhnay in need to afford a quality education.

Holiday celebrations: We strive to bring holiday celebrations to local families who otherwise could not afford to celebrate Christmas.
Our programs benefit individuals/families directly. But the Foundation also plans to work with local schools, churches, and other nonprofits with similar missions.
Our Leadership
Drs. Rodney and Eva Ackley started their dental office, Ackley Dental Group, 44 years ago in Spring Hill, Florida. They have continued to prioritize being an integral part of the community. For years before forming The Ackley Foundation Inc., Drs. Rodney and Eva Ackley helped multiple individuals through school and career development. They personally sponsored individuals, providing tuition, housing, and mentorship to help them achieve their professional goals. They realized that they have a strong passion for helping others reach their potential, so they created The Ackley Foundation, Inc. to continue with this objective.
Dr. Rodney Ackley and Dr. Eva Ackley both believe in giving back to the community and helping wherever possible. They were instrumental in starting the Crescent Community Medical and Dental Clinic in Spring Hill, Florida. The Dental Clinic provided free dental care to those less fortunate in Hernando County. They continued their support with the local community groups including Kiwanis and Rotary.
In 2010, in honor of Dr. Rodney Ackley’s parents, they established the first preventive dental clinic in Lebanon, in the village of Bteknai, where his father was born and family members still live. The clinic is now open all year with a local dentist to provide dental exams and cleanings to all local school age children teaching them proper dental care. They also provide necessary dental care to the indigent adults of the village. The Ackley Foundation provides the financial support for the clinic. In addition, each year the Ackley’s travel to the clinic to provide care themselves and bring supplies. It’s all about giving back!
